This policy sets out the basis on which your personal data will be collected and used by Your Choice Lottery Society Ltd (the ‘retailer’) operating this lottery scheme.

Should we for any reason elect to change this Privacy and Security Policy, the changes will be provided here, so that customers will always be kept informed of how we collect and use information and where we may disclose it to others.

1. Information Collected

We do not sell any data about you to 3rd party companies. We collect the following data from you:

1.1 information that you provide by completing registration forms on this site
1.2 details of transactions carried out on this site, excluding credit card details which are held by Netbanx Ltd
1.3 information on your computer, such as your IP address, operating system and browser

2. Uses made of the information

2.1 we do not store your credit or debit card details. These details are used to process payments and are stored by Netbanx Ltd who process payments on our behalf via their secure network

2.2 information held on you is used in the following ways:

2.2.1 by the retailer to administer the lottery scheme or schemes you enter, to inform you if you have won a prize and advise you how you can find out who has one a prize

2.2.2 by the charity or good cause you support who may provide you with information that may be of interest to you including information relating to that charity or good cause

2.2.3 to ensure that the content on the website is presented in the most effective manner for you and your computer

2.3 in addition, we may provide aggregate statistics about our sales, customers, traffic patterns and other site information to 3rd parties but these statistics will not include any personal information relating to any player of the lotto

2.4 we reserve the right to access and disclose individually identifiable information in order to comply with applicable laws and lawful requests from Government bodies or regulators (such as The Gambling Commission), to operate our systems properly or to protect ourselves or our users.

3. Access to Information

We have strict procedures covering the storage and disclosure of your information in order to prevent unauthorised access and to comply with the Data Protection Act 1998. You are entitled to exercise your right to access the information held about you but we may ask for proof of identity before we disclose personal information to you.

4. Cookies

A cookie may be either a persistent ( it remains on your system even when your web browser has been closed down) or a session (the cookie only remains on your computer only while your browser window remains open) cookie.
